Accessibility

We (LEGINDA GmbH), as website operators, strive to design the website in accordance with the relevant accessibility regulations. The following legal provisions apply to us: Saarland Inclusion Act, Accessible Websites Act (BITV), and the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG). The accessibility requirements are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance levels A and AA.

3. Telephone Assistance for People with Disabilities

We offer a telephone assistance hotline for people with disabilities and users of assistive technologies. You can reach it at the following number: +49 681 9403005.

4. Compliance Status

This website is partially accessible. The following content is not accessible:

  • Alt texts for images: Not all images have alternative texts (alt texts). Maintaining alt texts for all images would involve disproportionate effort.
  • Accessible alternatives: For images without alt texts, we are happy to provide a text-based description upon request.
  • In some cases, the heading hierarchy has not been implemented correctly. A revision of the affected page areas is planned to ensure a more consistent mapping of the semantic structure in future.
  • Some form fields lack descriptive labels, particularly in the form for calculating the price of translations. These will be added gradually to improve compatibility with assistive technologies.
  • The contrast ratio between the text and background image in the Hero section on the start page does not meet the recommended minimum values of 4.5:1 (for continuous text) or 3:1 (for large text) in some places. The display is being adjusted to improve readability for all users.
  • The WhatsApp widget integrated into the website is currently not fully operable using a keyboard alone. This means that people with motor impairments, or who do not have a mouse, can only use the service to a limited extent. However, an alternative contact option is available (email or telephone), and we are examining ways to make the widget more accessible.

5. Evaluation Method

The evaluation was carried out through a self-assessment according to the BITV test. More information can be found at: https://www.bitvtest.de/bitv_test.html.
