Credibility, Reliability and Quality are top priorities.

Translations are a matter of trust. To win your confidence and to keep it is of utmost importance to us. This only works on the basis of reliability and by constantly maintaining and reviewing a high quality level. To accomplish this task, we have developed various ways to guarantee top-quality, expert translations of your texts and documents. They are: Our entire quality managment system, our ressource and project management, the technical know-how and the quality control with the help of the 5-eye-principle.

Translations according to DIN

It goes without saying that translations should be accurate and technically correct. But how can we convince you of the quality of our translations, seen as though you cannot check every detail, or even before you have made any experiences with us?

One possibility is that we adhere to internationally recognised standards:

We render our translation services according to DIN EN 15038. This is certified by our registration with DIN CERTO under the number 70296.

The standard covers the following range:

  • technical and personnel resources,
  • quality and project management,
  • contractual framework and
  • structurised and standardised workflow.

We abide by this standard and its regulations. You can rely on that!

The target country principle.

Thanks to the aderence to this principle we can guarantee a better quality of our translations. The principle says, that our translators usually live in the country into whose language they translate. This quality criteria assures that the applied language skills are up-to-date. All the necessary cultural, linguistical and political knowledge required for an effective translation is incorporated.

The mother tongue principle.

To achieve a higher quality of our translations we apply the mother tongue principle as far as possible. It says that only native speakers are able to produce high quality translations as far as linguistical, technical and cultural standards are concerned. The European Commission's in-house translation service also works according to this principle. Although there is no actual definition for "native speaker" and adherence to this principle alone does not guarantee a good translation, experience has shown that there is a comprehensible relation between its appliance and the production of high-quality translations, especially in combination with the other principles such as the target country principle and the 5-eye-principle.

The 5-eye-principle.

Of course the pricing is very important when ordering a translation - especially nowadays. But what's the use of a cheap translation if it leads to a poor image of your company or your product? Our translators are carefully selected, qualified native language translators and every translation is also proof-read by a second translator and undergoes a final checking.

That's what we call "The 5-eye-principle"!

Resource management.

Our service is not only about translating. To live up to our quality standard we must have the relevant ressources. These are mainly the right translators and the selection of translation tools such as terminology, documentations etc. When you place an order with Leginda, we take care of the difficult bit. And this service is already in the price!

Project management.

Our project management supervises the proper application of structurised and transparent workflows given by our platform. Furthermore, it assures the selection of a suitable translator for your text and the coordination of all persons involved in the order process, i. e. the translator, the second translator and the controller.

Technical competence.

In order for our system to run smoothly and for you to have access to it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we have a technical department which ensures that the platform is always ready for operation. Our technical department is also responsible for the security of your data. All this is carried out through transparent workflows and on the basis of the most recent quality standards.
